Description: Improve passenger security, schedule and gate information at the world's busiest bus terminal. Improve information during service disruptions. Improve public address, incident response, bus communications and situational awareness for operations and management. Improve ticket vending machine performance and reliability.
Scope: 61 CCTV cameras, digital video recorders, card access control at 5 doorways, fire alarm interface, 10 dynamic message signs, public address, UPS, new control center furnishings, displays and workstations, operations support applications, 51 WiFi access points, new main distribution frame, 6 intermediate distribution frames, bi-directional radio amplifier, 1500' radiax cables. Upgrade communications networks. Prepare control center for deployment of vehicle tracking and service supervision software.

Results Achieved: Negotiated change orders to remedy non-constructable design at minimum cost and delay. Completed all requested scope. Successfully deployed service supervision applications.
Critical Actions: Acknowledged legitimate changes. Facilitated cooperative design workshops between contractor and consulting engineer to develop a constructable, cost-effective solution.
