About CPMG:
CPMG is the independent consultancy of James Kemp, PMP, founded in 2003, with a focus on reducing project failures through the application of good system engineering practice, proper planning and project controls.

A system engineering perspective covers the whole environment of the project -- not just the product to be delivered -- but usability, maintenance procedures, organizational change, complexity, training, stakeholders, support personnel, interfaces, infrastructure, communications, life cycle cost, the contract, the construction schedule, scope management, requirements traceability, and more – together with the risks and potential impacts and benefits to the business.

Project controls provide a safety net for the project team - early warning of impending problems - through schedule analysis, cost control, forecasting and effective project risk management.

Jim retired from NJ TRANSIT in December 2017 after nearly 25 years in system engineering, program management and project controls.  He now works in the electrical power industry as a
Project Controls Specialist with Collabera, giving back to help other project teams excel.

CPMG is a veteran-owned single member LLC.  Additional PMP-certified consultants can be brought in as necessary to support your project.

CPMG is located in Madison, NJ (USA)
